RDNA 2 · 2021
The RX 6700M scales RDNA 2 further into laptops, with 2304 stream processors boosting to 2300 MHz and an unusually generous 10GB of GDDR6 across a 160-bit bus (320GB/s) - more VRAM than most GPUs in its performance class, mobile or desktop. It arrived in 2021 as one of AMD's higher-end mobile offerings of that generation.
The 135W figure here reflects a common laptop configuration, though AMD's TGP range lets manufacturers tune it differently across chassis designs. It handles 1080p gaming at maximum settings with room to spare, and stretches into 1440p at high settings in less demanding titles, with ray tracing supported for lighter use.
This chip supports FSR 3.1 with Frame Generation, AMD's software-driven interpolation tech that extends across the RDNA 2 lineup without needing the dedicated hardware NVIDIA's DLSS 3 relies on - useful for pushing frame rates higher at 1440p. Resizable BAR support is present too, worth enabling in the laptop's BIOS for a modest, free performance gain.
Laptop manufacturers configure this GPU's power limit (TGP) per model. The 135W figure above is a typical point within the chip's published TGP range - actual power limits, and real-world performance, can vary significantly between laptops using the same GPU name.
Smooth 1440p gaming and solid creative app performance.
10 GB GDDR6 memory.
Push performance beyond base clock.

Real-world specs can differ by laptop model - see the note above.
The AMD RX 6700M is a upper mid-range dedicated GPU with 10GB of GDDR6 memory, suited to mainstream gaming and everyday graphics tasks.
