RDNA 2 · 2020
The RX 6800 XT pushed RDNA 2 further than the standard RX 6800, with 4608 stream processors and higher clocks (up to 2250 MHz) over the same 256-bit, 512GB/s memory setup and 16GB GDDR6 buffer. At launch in 2020 it was AMD's most direct competitor to NVIDIA's RTX 3080, trading the win depending on the game.

It is a genuine 4K gaming card at high-to-max settings in most titles, with ray tracing performance a step behind NVIDIA's equivalent tier but rasterized performance that is extremely competitive.
