Iris Plus 640 is one of Intel's Gen9 graphics configurations from the Kaby Lake Refresh era, pairing 48 execution units with 64MB of eDRAM (Intel's "Crystal Well" cache) to give it noticeably more memory bandwidth than the standard UHD Graphics of the same generation. Clocks run from 300 MHz up to 1.1 GHz.
That extra cache made it one of the stronger integrated options available in 2017, capable of modest 720p gaming in older or less demanding titles alongside smooth everyday use, though it's well behind the Iris Xe and Xe-LPG graphics Intel ships in laptops today.
