Gen9.5 (Comet Lake) · 2020
UHD Graphics for 10th-generation Comet Lake processors is a Gen9.5 design, the same core architecture Intel had been refining since Skylake, with 24 execution units running between 350 MHz and 1.15 GHz. It shipped across a huge range of budget and mainstream laptops in 2020.
It's built for everyday computing - browsing, office work, video playback - rather than gaming, and by the time Comet Lake launched it was already behind AMD's integrated Vega graphics of the same era. Intel didn't meaningfully improve on this architecture until Iris Xe arrived the following year.
Everyday display output, browsing and office work.
Shares system memory dynamically.
Push performance beyond base clock.
Integrated
Draws from the CPU's power envelope - no dedicated power limit.
The Intel UHD Graphics (10th Gen) is a basic / integrated-class integrated GPU, suited to light gaming and general-purpose display output.
