Gen9.5 (9th Gen) · 2019
UHD Graphics 630 is the integrated GPU found in Intel's 9th Gen "Coffee Lake Refresh" laptop chips, built on the Gen9.5 architecture with 24 execution units and a 1.2 GHz boost clock - a modest refinement over the UHD 620 that preceded it. It was never intended as a gaming chip.
It covers office work, web browsing and video playback without issue, including 4K content, but has very little headroom for gaming - older or lightweight titles may run at their lowest settings, and anything more demanding needs a discrete GPU. Laptops built for gaming in this era always paired it with one.
