Turing · 2022
The MX550 (2022) keeps the same 896-core Turing layout and 64-bit GDDR6 memory bus as the MX450 but doubles VRAM to 4GB and raises boost clocks further, still within a 25W power ceiling built for thin, fanless-adjacent laptops.
It's the most capable chip in NVIDIA's long-running MX series, good for light 1080p gaming and smoother creative workloads than integrated graphics, though it remains a world away from any RTX-branded gaming GPU in raw power.
Light gaming and everyday graphics at lower settings.
4 GB GDDR6 memory.
Push performance beyond base clock.

Lower-power laptop GPU built for thin-and-light designs.
The NVIDIA MX550 is a entry-level dedicated GPU with 4GB of GDDR6 memory, suited to light gaming and general-purpose display output.
