The Quadro P520 is a workstation-class mobile GPU rather than a gaming chip, built on the same Pascal architecture as NVIDIA's consumer cards from the same era but validated and driver-tuned for professional CAD, 3D modeling and engineering software instead. Its 256 cores and 2GB of GDDR5 over a 64-bit bus keep it firmly in the entry-level workstation tier.
With a 30W power budget, it's meant for thin mobile workstations that need ISV-certified drivers more than raw horsepower. It isn't built for gaming, and even for professional use it's one of the lighter options in NVIDIA's Quadro mobile lineup - fine for 2D drafting and basic 3D viewports, less so for heavier rendering work.
