Turing · 2019
The laptop RTX 2060 Super, from 2019, steps up from the standard mobile 2060 with 2176 Turing cores and 8GB of GDDR6 on a wider 256-bit bus, while holding to a similar 90W typical power draw.
That extra VRAM and bandwidth help it age a little better in newer, more memory-hungry titles than the standard 2060, though as with other Turing-generation mobile GPUs, actual performance depends heavily on how a given laptop configures the chip's power limit.
This card also runs DLSS 2, NVIDIA's generalized AI upscaling model with DLAA and Ray Reconstruction included, though without the Frame Generation reserved for RTX 40-series and newer chips. As with other Turing laptop GPUs, NVIDIA never extended official Resizable BAR support to this generation, so it misses out on that particular efficiency gain available to RTX 30-series cards and later.
Laptop manufacturers configure this GPU's power limit (TGP) per model. The 90W figure above is a typical point within the chip's published TGP range - actual power limits, and real-world performance, can vary significantly between laptops using the same GPU name.
Comfortable 1080p gaming and everyday creative tasks.
8 GB GDDR6 memory.
Push performance beyond base clock.

Real-world specs can differ by laptop model - see the note above.
The NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super is a mid-range dedicated GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 memory, suited to mainstream gaming and everyday graphics tasks.
