AMD Athlon 3000 Series · Zen
Where the 300U at least has SMT, the 3050U drops it entirely — two cores, two threads, no more. It's part of the "Dali" family AMD built specifically for the cheapest laptops on shelves, and it shows: multitasking beyond a browser and a document is a stretch.
The older 14nm process and Vega 2 graphics reflect its position at the very bottom of AMD's mobile stack. At a 15W TDP it's efficient enough for basic use, just don't expect it to keep up with anything busier than email and video calls.
Up to 3.2 GHz boost clock.
Supported memory generations. Soldered (LPDDR) or upgradeable depends on the laptop.
