The cut-down sibling of the Athlon Gold 7220U — same 6nm Mendocino platform and RDNA 2 graphics, but SMT disabled, leaving just two physical threads instead of four.
Even without multithreading, the newer architecture keeps it more efficient than the older 12–14nm Athlons, and RDNA 2 graphics are a genuine upgrade over Vega for video and general display work. It's built for the cheapest Mendocino-based laptops, and it's priced to match.
