AMD Ryzen 7000 Series · Zen 4 (Phoenix)
A step up in base clock over the 7740U on the same Zen 4 Phoenix silicon — eight cores, sixteen threads, and a notably higher 3.8GHz base alongside the familiar 5.1GHz boost, still inside a 15W envelope.
That higher floor makes sustained performance noticeably more consistent than earlier Phoenix U-series chips, without giving up any of the RDNA 3 graphics or the battery-friendly power target.
Up to 5.1 GHz boost clock.
Supported memory generations. Soldered (LPDDR) or upgradeable depends on the laptop.
