AMD Ryzen 7000 Series · Zen 4 (Dragon Range)
A 3D V-Cache variant of the 7945HX, keeping the same twelve cores, twenty-four threads, and 45W envelope while adding a stacked cache die on top of the CPU complex — the same technique AMD uses on its desktop X3D chips.
The extra cache tends to pay off most in cache-sensitive workloads like gaming, where AMD's desktop X3D parts have shown a clear edge over their non-3D counterparts at similar clocks.
Up to 5.4 GHz boost clock.
Supported memory generations. Soldered (LPDDR) or upgradeable depends on the laptop.
