Intel Celeron 12th Generation · Alder Lake-U
Intel's entry-level Alder Lake-U part strips things down to a single efficiency core with four-way threading — enough for a browser tab or two and not much more. At a 9W TDP it's built for the cheapest fanless Chromebooks and budget laptops on the market.
The 10nm process is shared with far more capable Alder Lake chips, but with no boost clock listed and just one core doing the work, this is squarely a device for basic web and document tasks, not multitasking.
Up to 1 GHz boost clock.
Supported memory generations. Soldered (LPDDR) or upgradeable depends on the laptop.
