Built on Intel's Lunar Lake platform with a 3nm process, the Core Ultra 7 256V takes a different approach from Meteor Lake — eight cores and eight threads, with on-package memory and a significantly upgraded NPU, all within a lean 17W envelope.
A 4.8GHz boost clock and Lunar Lake's efficiency-focused design make it one of Intel's strongest chips for battery life in a thin laptop, prioritizing sustained efficiency over the higher core counts of the H-series Meteor Lake chips.
