Both show up used/refurb around the same price near me. The 5515 has the Ryzen 7 5800H + RTX 3060 + 165Hz panel, the 5525 has the newer Ryzen 7 6800H but only an RTX 3050 and 120Hz. On paper the older 5515 looks like the better gaming buy. Anyone actually owned both or know if the 6800H's efficiency makes up for the weaker GPU?
Owned the 5515, the 3060 + 165Hz combo is genuinely great for the price it sells at used. Haven't tried the 6800H version but the RTX 3050 is a noticeable step down for anything demanding.
That's what I figured, leaning toward hunting down a 5515 instead. Thanks.
