Almost bought a laptop that looked identical to one I already own, same RAM/CPU/price, except the storage was SATA instead of NVME. Boot times and file transfers are night and day. Worth the 30 seconds to check the spec sheet before buying.
Learned this one the hard way too. Sellers don't always make it obvious in the listing title.
